CHRISTIAN LANYARDS: THROUGHOUT THE YEARS

 

Gospel according to the Hebrews is a lost gospel but on todays generation it stands lanyards and badge holders preserved only in fragments of the writings of the Church Fathers. Scholars believe that it was probably composed in the second century, Egypt. Yet another group of researchers includes the dating of this gospel between the years 65-100. It was originally written in Greek, although other historians and theologians have suggested that the language used was the Hebrew or Aramaic.

Usto, succeeded his brother Jesus of Nazareth as the leader of the Jewish sect that later became Christianity. The initial group of Christians was located in Jerusalem, proclaiming that Jesus was the promised Messiah and Son of God. These early Jewish Christians were called Nazarenes. The term Nazarene was first applied to Jesus of Nazareth. After his death, this term was used to identify the Jewish sect that believed Jesus was the Messiah.

Experts suggest that Matthew belonged to that group. This assertion is based on his Gospel, which tries to prove that Jesus was the Christ promised in Jewish literature. This Gospel, which is present today in the New Testament and is called the Gospel of Matthew. In it, there is a set of stories about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Matthew was a tax collector and followed Jesus.

One of the church fathers as Papias said that Matthew wrote "statements (ta logia) in a Hebrew style, and recorded how each was able [6].

Origen wrote: "The first to be written was that according to the tax collector or with the silence mode of christian lanyards, who later became an apostle of Jesus. Matthew published for the believers coming from Judaism, he having been composed in Hebrew characters."

Eusebius also refers to the text, explaining that the Apostles "written forced by necessity. Matthew, in fact, first preached to the Jews. Irenaeus gives us a broader view of the date and circumstances under which the Gospel of Matthew was written, explaining that "Matthew has introduced a written Gospel among the Jews to their style as Peter and Paul were preaching the Gospel in Rome and founding the church in this town. "

Jerome wrote that Matthew the tax collector and later an apostle, wrote his gospel near Jerusalem to the Hebrew Christians with a Name Badge Holders, where the writings are can be seen. Then, this gospel was translated into Greek, but the Greek copy has been lost. The original Hebrew was preserved in the Library of Caesarea which Pamphilus of Caesarea diligently gathered. Jerome adds that the Gospel of Matthew was called the Gospel of the Hebrews or sometimes the Gospel of the Apostles, and was used by the community of the Nazarenes. This Gospel of the Hebrews is very different from the Gospel of Matthew, which is in the Bible
